Join us for our How to Homeschool Highschoolers workshop Friday March 19th during our regular park day at Oak Village North Park at 2:00. We will meet under the pavillion while the kids play at the park.
Heather Neufeld will be presenting answers to questions like:
- Can a homeschooler go back to public school?
- What about class standing/college admissions?
- What if my student is not college bound?
- What is legally required in the state of Texas?
- What approaches can I take to curriculum?
- What is dual credit and how do we do it?
- How do I put together a transcript?
- What is a credit hour?
- How do I calculate GPA?
- What about SAT/ACT testing?
- Can my student participate in a graduation ceremony?
As well as a time for question & answer.
You do not have to be a member of HCCH to attend. Sign ups are not required but it would help me make sure I have enough packets for everyone.
