Mrs. Sara Cogar To All Instructors

Hey yall! I'm excited to announce that I will be teaching Marine Biology at SAC!

Just a little about me:

I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a BS in Wildlife Biology. I have taught college level biology labs and have been teaching my own kids for the past 3 years. When I graduated I worked as a wildlife biologist at Gene Howe WMA for Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Ive done research on almost everything here in Texas. From small rodents, to doing aerial surveys on pronghorn antelope.

We will be doing several labs during our class time and going over recording data and the scientific method - all while enjoying Gods creation!

I am particularly excited to teach marine biology because its one of my very favorite subjects - and the area of science that inspired me to become a biologist! My dream job (still) is to do research on sharks! Maybe someday my husband will agree to move me to the coast (ha!)

I hope to inspire your kids and we plan to have lots of fun!!
