Mrs. Cayce Yarbrough To All Instructors

Hello! I am Cayce Yarbrough, and I graduated from Trinity University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I am married and I have two daughters, both of whom graduated from HAAC Day/SAC Day. I have taught in public and private schools since 1988 and have taught homeschoolers for more than 20 years. My experience includes teaching English, AP English, History, Humanities, and Journalism classes. 2026 will be my 22nd year as a tutor for Bulverde United (previously SAC Day and HAAC Day). I teach Great Books classes because I love the literature and history of Western Civilization. At first, students may be intimidated by authors like Homer, Dante, or Dostoevsky, but eventually they realize they can engage with these works and participate in the conversations humanity has been having for centuries. Seeing that confidence develop is one of the best parts of teaching.
