Hi! I love children and love music, and am so blessed that my job gives me the opportunity to mesh the two together in a special way! I have been teaching music and piano for over 20 years in school settings as well as at a home studio. I love incorporating my knowledge of music education as a whole into my piano lesson time! By using extra instruments, games and activities, online learning apps and videos, as well as foundational music concepts I can give the students the most amazing music experience! I love to offer my students lots of extras! Piano clinics, improv and composition time, chord progression work for church accompianment, and modern repretoire songs that they know and enjoy. Bringing students into the learning experience by letting them arrange their own compositions and play songs from their favorite genres helps the experience by engaging and unique to each person. I offer free membership to apps for my students, several recitals and other playing opportunities, music camps, and a fun and engaging musical community they can be a part of as they hone their talent!
